#relatable
Tony’s two time win is not as impressive as Sandra’s, and not even for obvious reasons (like this season had all winners so there was gonna be another two time winner by default).
It is less impressive for SO MANY other reasons. Sandra won the first two times she played, and considering her second win was on an All-Stars season where there were only three other winners, and being a huge target because of this.
Tony has his second win in his third try. In his second try, he played in an All-Stars season with only TWO other winners, one of them being THE ONLY TWO TIME WINNER AT THE TIME. and somehow, being the “best player ever”, managed to get himself voted out IN THE FIRST EPISODE, not even being able to outlast Sandra.
So, now that he won a second time, it’s still impressive, he played with the best of the best, but if Natalie OR Michele had won this season it would have been 1000 times more impressive because, they would have won their first two seasons, and because they were BOTH playing from the bottom at the end of the game. But of course, the man gets all the credit for everything in the end, and gets an extremely underwhelming win, and the sexist biases that Sarah talked about just come through in the jury vote in a very obvious fashion.
So, Tony can call himself the king of Survivor all he wants, but Sandra did it first and did it better, and in a way more impressive fashion. KNOW THAT!!!
