Pairing: Katy Chen/Xu Xialing
Prompt: Sledding Down the Tallest Hill in San Francisco
It never snowed in San Francisco.
The last time it snowed was in nineteen-seventy-six. But when an old Ironman villain no one knew named Blizzard (who had an absolute fit when no one knew who he was) came to town, he’d covered the entire city with snow for the first time in almost fifty years. Everything was shut down; public transportation, schools, business, roads. No one knew how to drive in several feet of snow nor was the city equipped for it, so San Francisco ended up having the most bizarre snowcation week. Katy swore she thought she’d seen everything, but she never expected snow in San Fran.

Title: A Quiet Stop at the Edge of P-Town
Pairing: Joaquín Torres/Bucky Barnes
Prompt: A Backup Dancer Who's On Tour and Just Wants Some Peace and Quiet for the Holidays
“Alpine.”
Joaquín turned to see a stunning man; long umber locks softly moving with him as he walked behind the counter, light stormy eyes, scruff to his face like he hadn’t shaved in a week or so, wearing one of the ugliest sweaters Joaquín had ever seen, with this weird beach theme and Santa and Mrs. Claus in swimwear that said “Santa 364 days a year”, a left arm prosthetic with a winter evening painted on it.
“Her name’s Alpine,” said the man, smiling at Joaquín, making Joaquín’s heart skip a beat, “And she doesn’t usually like a lot of people.”

Title: That'll Take the Edge Off
Pairing: Sarah Wilson/Monica Rambeau
“That’ll Take the Edge Off,” said a voice, a hand moving in front of Sarah, bringing into view a chilled rocks glass filled with an amber drink.
Sarah took the glass, raising her eyebrow as she turned to this woman sitting next to her on the porch swing with one of the drinks in her own hand. And there was something warm about the person who made it hard to keep up that raised eyebrow, hard to have even the most minor walls around her.
Sarah… Sarah knew who this was. Sam had ran Sarah around the entire party in her home, introducing her to too many people too quickly. But she remembered her. She stood out.
Monica.
Monica Rambeau.
That was who she was.
“What?” asked Sarah.
“That’s what the drink is called,” said Monica, shrugging as she took a sip of the drink, “That’ll Take the Edge Off.”
