It is Protected by the Culture heritage Organization of Iran as a national natural monument and is indeed a major tourist attraction with a height of 25 meters and with a perimeter of 11.5 meters at its trunk and 18 meters higher up around its branches. It is estimated to be over four millennia old and is likely the oldest tree in Iran and the oldest or second-oldest living lifeform in Asia. The exact age of the tree has been difficult to determine, but it is estimated to be between 4000 to 5000 years old. There are more estimates that one of them says the tree can be over eight thousand years old that probably it’s not true.
