hello! i'm posting my stuff a little out of order/late for the event but am very happy to be participating! i checked the rules but didn't see this and might have missed it so i figured i'd ask:

for submissions, do they need to be new works, or can a chapter from an already started fanfic be submitted? the fic i'm working on is Sasori centric and would love to incorporate one of the themes into my upcoming chapter. if not it's totally ok and i'll think of a quick little drabble to write but i figured i'd check since i'll be writing it anyway. thanks! :)

Great questions! First of all, 100% okay to submit out of order or late. We will continue to track the sasoriweek and sasoriweek2023 tags and reblog stuff after the week ends for a little while. People are busy, and it shouldn't be a reason to be barred from participating. :)

As to the ongoing fic, that's completely fine! So long as it follows our other rules, we'd be happy to have you contribute to the event with a chapter update.

Hello! Silly question, but for posting fic on Ao3, should we tag Sasoriweek as one of the actual tags for the fic, or do we do it through collection? Thank you and I'm excited to see what everyone does!

That's a great question! We are not doing a collection, because many people have expressed concern over AO3 collections going private in the past. Instead, we're using tags to keep track of fic submissions. You can use the tags sasoriweek and sasoriweek2023 on AO3 and elsewhere to keep track of submissions. Anything posted to tumblr with those tags will also be reblogged to this blog, assuming it does not violate our few Rules.
