with: @sassa-fiske location: homecoming gala when: sept 2nd, early in the evening
Heath had arrived at the Homecoming Gala with Carmen Hearst, but he had his doubts that he'd be leaving with Carmen. As much as he enjoyed slowly blinking his big brown eyes at her and seeing how quickly she'd blush, it wasn't really like that between them. Of course, he still planned to be a decent date. He'd try to show her a good time, make sure she had as much fun as her freshman year, when he'd accompanied her to the gala as a favor to his mom. But right now, he'd seen a shimmery flash of gold that he simply couldn't ignore.
Depositing Carmen at a table and promising to be back 'in ten minutes or less!' with drinks, Heath took chase. He drifted through the crowd seamlessly, less looking for refreshments and more trying to spot Sassa again. As soon as he did catch sight of his ex, he didn't hesitate to step close behind her, complimenting, "Gold always was your color." His head tipped forward, neck twisting just enough to meet Sassa's gaze with a smile. Resting a guiding hand on the small of her back, Heath sidled around, moving to stand beside her instead. "Am I gonna see your name on the ballot for Homecoming Court, too?"
