Sassapis knows what "getting sucked off" means. He consistently knows a bunch of modern shit, there's no way he doesn't know. He just acts dumb because he knows how much it means to Trevor I love their friendship so much

Jay has a bunch of DnD characters based on the various ghosts. Even the ghosts who don't care about DnD like updates on "how they did" in games. Jay's favorite is, of course, the one based on Pete.

Jay screams at cooking competition shows like they're sports games

One time, Sam put on both Wicked movies back to back so she could get the ghosts out of her hair for a few hours...only to get sucked into it herself and watching it with them. Yes she'd already seen it. No it didn't stop her plan from backfiring. I may make a separate post just about this idea

The whole ‘arc’ about thor and flower (and others, but mainly those two) pressuring Sass into losing his virginity made me like them so much less 😭😭

Overall the show handles things a lot of other modern sitcoms are weird about well but that plotline felt so gross and like it should have came from a totally different show from the 90s.

And don’t try to pull a ‘times were different then’ we have seen multiple examples of ghosts moving past their prejudices in life. Or at least if flower and thor are weird about it have someone stick up for him or shut them down?? Hello??

What I love about the dynamic between Hetty and the pre-industrial ghosts is the fact they knew her her whole life, as well as knew her family and descendents, so her history with them begins before her death.

 I love Thor being Gordon, and Isaac and Thor messing with her and her guest during a seance, Sass knowing she was “ the party guest who overindulges in cocaine and traps one in the corner, going on and on about Gilbert and Sullivan”.
