1.) In Dio’s somewhat-less-than-esteemed opinion, Mel really needs to loosen the fuck up and tell her responsibilities to fuck off sometimes. And while he’s not exactly wrong in thinking a mental health day is a bad thing...Mel, I implore you...never lead your life the way Dio tells you to lead your life.

2.) Imagine Mel as a young twenty-something. Now make Theo, Dio’s daughter, one of her teenaged friends...whom Mel doesn’t know is related to Dio. Now imagine Mel’s panic when after a night of partying she awakes, hungover, in somebody else’s yacht...and Dio walks in.Thus was the start of a very long-running joke about what a terrible influence on his kid Mel is.

3.) Dio has great timing! Y’know. For him.For everyone else, it’s the absolute worst. Reeeaaally hard to enjoy your seaside vacay when the god of partying way too hard is doing a stint there at the same time.
