getting to know the writer meme tagged by @sasukekuns where do you publish your work?
fandom-wise? drabbles and request fics are posted here. long fics / serious collabs are published at @sasusaku-headcanons and @sasusakualter-reality. a long multi-chapter fic is published at @tomatolapdance . and also in livejournal and ff.net. but most of them are outdated.
what medium/application/etc. do you write in or with?
pen and paper. notepad++. sometimes i use workflowy app, especially to track the huge amount of requests i've received. if i’m working in public, i use the writer app which is available everywhere ( and safer )
do you collaborate with others?
yes! a lot. most of my collabs are either with @coronagraminea or @peonydee. i also do collabs with my friends or during fic drops.
how much editing do you do before you publish?
it depends on my caffeine or sleep levels. the more well-rested ( or sober ) i am, the better the editing is. i don't usually edit my drabbles or short fics esp. when i'm an incoherent mess.
do you listen to music when you write?
yes? i love instrumentals / OSTs when writing action scenes. It's different if there are lyrics tho; Listening to J-rock or OPM ( or any foreign language ) helps me to set the mood before turning the music off to start writing. English songs are used when i'm running out of words.
how do you decide what to write about?
after eating sweets or drinking tea/coffee, i start to write. Or during the wee hours of the night.
when do you write?
UNGODLY HOURS. IN DESOLATE PLACES. DURING INAPPROPRIATE TIMES. ( I once wrote prelude to smut scene while working in the office. )
how often do you write?
sometimes it's like a big wave that drowns me in helpless tears. Then after the ocean crashes on me, it retracts itself and i'm in a drought.
do you take requests?
yes i do! but i only do requests if : 1) the idea interests me 2) a friend asked me to. it's an unspoken agreement bet. me and the requester that i'm a v. busy person and i don't always have the time ( or the energy ) to write. i'm also a very slow writer, and i'm more of an idea person that spills out headcanons than do the actual writing, so there's that too.
is there any genre or type or story you want to write but are hesitant to?
it's been always my dream to write a decent, v. long fantasy or detective mystery thriller work.
Any inspirational quotes, videos, tricks, articles, etc. that help you stay motivated?
write. editing comes later. write for your idea and the ppl that matter. ( for articles and tricks, i think they are in my resources tag ? )
i tag @anthropologicalhands, @syolen, @peonydee and @coronagraminea ( HEY I ONLY TAGGED YOU ONCE! DO IT :))))) )
