We have a new cycle beginning today for the Cancer area of our lives. Cancer deals with topics of home life, how we nurture, our emotional foundations, mothers, our lineage, ancestry and the subconscious. Cancer is ruled by the Moon so it’s at home, feeling very comfortable here and this new moon can bring on feelings of nostalgia, needs for comfort and heightened intuition. It’s a perfect time to set some soulful goals that focus on the true self.

So where’s Cancer in your natal chart and what planets are dwelling there? This is the house where you want to focus your intentions. It’s squaring the nodes as it sits on a point of direction so the cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are the signs most affected. So which direction are you headed? So, in case you hadn’t heard, Saturn, the planet of karma and hard lessons is going retrograde in Pisces. Today at 3:05 PM, EST he begins his six month backward dance through the mystic, the dreamer, the poet, and the spiritual savior of the zodiac. Saturn in Pisces is serving up some tough love, primarily here to teach us about these topics, our boundaries and self improvement, almost like a personal life audit. It’s not about smashing your dreams, it’s about giving them structure. In this retrograde, you’re about to review the lessons of the last six months to make sure you learned them. Sorry, you can’t sweep them under the rug. The purpose is to awaken your spirit through all things hidden or under an illusion. Today has the potential to be a pretty active and high energy day with the Moon and Mars conjunct in Taurus. This brings in enthusiastic energy. In a Venus ruled sign, intimate relationships can benefit as it provides passion, charisma and sex appeal. This can also give you big desires to pursue avenues that can bring in the all mighty dollar.

The Taurus Moon will oppose Pluto in Aquarius which adds a little drama to our day. Feelings are intense so watch out for dramatic mood swings.

Sun in Cancer ♋️🌊 Moon in Virgo ♍️🌎

The day’s vibes may have you in a tug of war between laziness and responsibility.

The Moon in Virgo squares Jupiter in Gemini early today setting the tone for lazy vibes, questioning your goals or financial decisions and general emotional fog. More than anything else, this lovely square is a forced reality check. Self care is important. it can hit hard with possible physical symptoms of pain in the sacral chakra region. This aspect is most of the energy for the day. The rest won’t be until late tonight.

The Sun in Cancer trine Saturn (r) in Pisces steps in and begs you to get up, restructure and focus on your daily grind. This energy bring the focus you need to tackle daily chores, take care of appointments or squeeze in a work out session. There’s a bit of a tug of war in our heads between sitting around and doing nothing and getting up to do what we gotta do.

The Virgo Moon opposite Saturn (r) in Pisces brings in feelings of general sadness or feeling a little blue for no reason. We’re not really in the mood to share our emotions either and socializing feels out of the question. It’s ok if you just need some alone time today. Take care of your mental health, be aware of conflicts at home and try to get a good nights sleep tonight. This one can wear you out.

The Virgo Moon sextile the Sun in Cancer rolls in later tonight and it’s time for an emotional makeover. Get your life together. That’s what today’s energies are trying to tell you.

The Scorpio Moon trine Saturn in Pisces is asking us to start making the decisions we’ve been putting off to the side. It’s time to shed old habits and step into efficiency. Reach out to close friends to help you get started or give you solid advice.

That’s the main aspect for the day, we do have a couple of minor aspects with the Scorpio Moon in a quincunx with Chiron in Aries which is making us feel extra sensitive, throwing obstacles in our way. This one can open up old emotional baggage.
