this is how I was taught to go into sleep paralysis, or something of that sort, where you're body and brain are essentially asleep but you open your eyes and look around the room without moving and you see some really trippy shit. Usually it takes someone else to shake you awake. This is not fun and not at all restful. the person who taught it to me thought it would be a funny joke, or that I would benefit from it because it's how they got a thrill (they were able to wake themselves up, kinda like you do when you have nightmares).

I'll probably just stick in a movie that I've seen 5000 times or some traditional Celtic music. that always helps calm my nerves.

Oh man I get that, I’ve always been pretty open about being sexually interested in people. But my best friend has only just when we turned 16 felt that way, and tumblr really help her be cool with it!

yeah I'll just move it to the backburner for now, deal with some potentially existential crises some other time. right now I should be heading to bed because I might have to get up early in the morning to go and talk to school people (which is the last thing on this earth I want to do) but I'm not sleepy. Last night I didn't go to bed until like 6am and woke up at like 3 pm. this is the exact opposite of what I'm supposed to be doing.
