GASP. He should be offended by the question but honestly he is half in the bag. Not all the way there yet. Nope. “Do you think I need to be drunk before I give someone a hug? Is that how they do things far north?”

“Not... normally.” Well it’s complicated up north, general signs of affection are rare and far in between. That is to say, he totally doesn’t mind. “Just thought you mistook me for someone else.” Though, really, let him pet his hair. It’s shiny.
