Well, Red King and MK "met for the first time" twice.

The first time they met was technically right after she freed her father from the mountain:

And their second "first" meeting was when he fell down into her cave! I'm currently animating that one, using the knowledge I gained from copying the pilot!! Here's a wip

Starsfic: I love your Red King AU? May I please have some headcanons?

Of course! I don't quite know what headcanons for my own AU means (confusing post, I'm not gonna lie), but I assume you want little tidbits. These will all focus on the Red King of Eternal Slumber/that part of the story, because I'm hoping to create a fic or something.

Red King has ombre eyes

If Red King were colored, her eyes would be a gradient from purplish-pink at the top to orange at the bottom! A quick visual:

Red King often isn't actually trying to eat MK

She just likes spending time with him. If they ever got close to her actually eating him (soup prepared and all), she'd probably give him an easy escape route. MK doesn't know this, however, so he's always properly terrified whenever his hand ends up in her jaws.

A sizeable portion of MK's paycheck goes to keeping Red King fed.

She says if MK is going to be so rude as to not let her eat him, he better bring her something to eat! And MK obliges, because he thinks she's fun and also he really doesn't wanna get eaten before he even gets another day off.

Just like her mother, Red King loves Pigsy's cooking, and MK is close to Pigsy's cooking, so he blows his check getting her everything she lazily points at on the menu. With how much she eats, taking it without paying would be a robbery, and he can't just steal from Pigsy.
