The first season of Swamp Thing is coming to the CW and I’m truly hoping that it garners more attention and fans. Although the potential for a revival is probably still a bit far-fetched, perhaps having a larger potential audience not limited solely to streaming will turn a lingering hope for a second season into a reality.

Okay this right here^^ telepathy or whatever subconscious realm/ mind dimension that the green is allowing them to communicate through, this is what I thought was happening at the beginning of episode 6 when Abby is on the bridge and we hear human Alec's voice talking to her.

The episode synopsis even says "Swamp Thing finds a new way to communicate with Abby" but it's never really explained. Were they really talking or was he recalling a past conversation? Was he daydreaming? Because towards the end of the conversation Abby is suddenly gone.

Is it just supposed to be a really wistful introspective scene and the "new way to communicate" just refers to the spores? Because I feel like something got cut that would've explained this or even allowed for more episodes with human Alec that wasn't just a visual hallucination.
