The govt. Of Telengana is trying to cut down 400 acres of forest land in the University of Hyderabad (HCU).
HCU is home to a plethora of beautiful species, and is a hub of biodiversity, including many trees, native bird species, deer, and reptiles, to name a few- and is called the green lungs of Hyderabad.
In the past few days, they have gone as far as putting a Lathi charge (hitting people with a wooden beam) against peaceful protestors, and are not even allowing students or people who stay in the quarters to even enter.
I implore everyone to please, please share the word, and stand for what is right, and protect the little that is left, of what has been given to us.
Below I have shared a account which provides all the information you may need, and I encourage everyone to share it.
Thank you.
