'Damn.' Frown deepening, Emma's gaze remains cool even with the pit that forms in her gut. "You were hurt," as if that's not obvious. "Do you remember anything? Anything at all?" She doubts it, but she has to make sure.

Kanda peered closely at the floor, seeing flowers (the name of which he could not place) covering the floor. He didn't even seem to recognise the fact that he was in the infirmary at all, and he certainly seemed more passive than he usually did.

Kanda stared confused at the other female, not quite sure where he was or what he was doing there. He glanced down at his wrist to read his name ‘Kanda, Yū’, and he absent mindedly played with it as he looked at the woman.
