So, today has been eventful yet a complete success! Figured out my speakers work, I DID FIND A HEAD UNIT, so cruising with music is coming soon! I even took the seat out, shampoo’d it, and cleaned the inside more thoroughly with a wet rag, then my dad @bigshowfloyd50 and I put the new header gaskets on and fixed my issue with the ticking, now she runs quietly and rumbly! Headers have a distinct tick anyway, because it’s a more hollow material than cast manifolds, but it’s 1000X better than it was! Grabbed some @chickfila for dinner, and now relaxing and watching some @onepiece Hopefully soon I’ll have the radio in, speakers going, and on to the next thing to fix up on ole reliable! Timing cover done ready to go on the #sbc350 #LT1 going in my #c10 next week. The block has been painted this #oldschool #chevy block color. Think it’s going to look pretty cool. #compcam in with a 12deg lope instead of 10deg just to get a bit more vacuum. Molly rings old hump iron heads gives her 9.5 to 1 compression.
