*sigh*
Ok, this will be off topic of what I normally post
So... I got hit with this message (yes, I managed to copy the entire paragraph before reporting them and blocking them entirely)
"Please let me explain, I'm sorry, I falsely reported your Tumblr acc for illegal/fraudulent activity cause I thought you were the one who hacked my acc by sending me a phishing link for hacking Tumblr acc and stealing login credentials to all my online accounts. I lost money cause the hacker gained access to my Crypto wallet acc and stole my 427 USDT. I was so upset when I recovered my Tumblr acc and I really want to report the hacker who stole my login credentials but I reported your acc instead of the hacker who stole my login credentials. Can you help me revoke the false report I made against your acc? I tried to file an appeal and contacted tumblr supp, but the tumblr supp refused to listen cause I was not the reported user. And today, I received an email from tumblr stating that you need to contact the supp on Discord for the investigation and also to prevent banning your acc and IP address permanently."
And with screenshot
Yeah...I fell for this scam once, lost my first account...and I won't fall for that again
Remember, no big social media app is going to use Discord to work on this petty ass "accident". And no one "accidentally" reports someone without rechecking two or three times just in case they won't report an innocent person. If the person fails to do so, they have no fucking consideration whatsoever.
And also, Crypto? Is that even a thing anymore nowadays?
Also, "I tried to file an appeal and contacted tumblr supp, but the tumblr supp refused to listen cause I was not the reported user"...Didn't they just mentioned the very first sentence that "I falsely reported your Tumblr acc for illegal/fraudulent activity" how did they got the email to begin with if they falsely reported me?
And if I was the real one causing issues, wouldn't I receive an email for it? As a warning?
This scam was thankfully more obvious and more ridiculous the more you read into it
I have learned. It was their mistake not knowing that I'm a veteran
Coincidentally, these two events happened in the evening. I just found out about that later
