it’s been said multiple times before but being a fictive heavy system is the greatest irl crossover fic of all time.

like think about it. mika kagehira from ensemble stars makes neuvillette genshin impact cry on new years because of source. it was kinda funny (and he’s doin alright now guys)

and then that same mika kagehira regularly kisses both scaramouche genshin impact and kaito vocaloid on the mouth

on the whole xiaoven discussion god i feel you there man. i once asked people to interrogate me on my canon as a joke and tbh i think they just wanted satisfaction for themselves. like some were scarabedo shippers and just. i didn’t even know albedo until i met him in our system!

i might not be able to personally sympathize, since yknow, i’m neither xiao nor venti, but i get how it feels to see everyone around you connect tiny dots to make something canon. it gets even worse when they know you’re that character and know you’re uncomfortable with ships and STILL they continue! that last bit was a bit of a personal problem but i digress.

for canon divorces: does it count as pretending to be divorced if you were married to someone but then erased everyone's memory of yourself? dottore and i were married for probably centuries, and i don't think me irminsulifying myself permanently annulled the marriage. either way, we're both fictives in the same system now, and married with a kid. we have another on the way with our boyfriend. -scaramouche (genshin impact)
