The full moon’s coming I can feel it.
Bonfire
Belinda had jumped straight into the water, enjoying this rare opportunity to swim freely and playfully in the ocean. Though nothing would please her more than to swim out into the sunset and leave this place behind for good, the electrical current generated by the island’s defenses prevented her from swimming too far out.
After many hours, she finally began to tire and needed a rest. She was growing hungry also, and saw people eating, gathered around the fire. She headed over to them, sitting down and warming herself. “Pass me some of those... whatever you call them... would you?” she told the nearest person, gesturing to the marshmallows.
Build a fire||Open
The sun was beginning to set and Aeron was relieved to have the sun off her skin. She looked on as people began to group together, slaves getting to work on small campfires for the night activities as food and drinks began to flow. Aeron opted to go the other direction finding a small area to build her own fire. She sat there keeping herself warm, gazing into the fire trying to mull out the sounds of the festivities around her.
Aeron stared out at the water, lost in thought, remembering the place she was before. She heard someone approach her, remembering that she was sent to do a task Aeron jumped up. “Apologies.”
“Party in my tent! Who’s coming?!!!” He shouted from the entrance to his cabana holding open the flaps and looking around hoping he’d have some takers. He waited a few moments before going back inside, taking a seat, and throwing back a bottle of rum just for the occasion.
“Is that a fucking dolphin?”
Sandcastle Contest
Hearing of the sandcastle contest, Conrad didn’t want to pass up this opportunity to demonstrate his ability. His sandcastle would have to be as impressive as possible. He’d already sketched out the plans for it, now it was time to start building. While he could have done so using magic, that would be cheating, so it was out of the question. Of course, he would delegate the manual labour to slaves, with him overseeing the construction. After rounding up a small team, he set them to work while he looked on. “You there” he called to a passing slave. “I need another pair of hands over here.”
“These outfits really don’t leave a lot to the imagination, do they? Not that I’m at all surprised by that. Well, it’s nice to have some fresh new clothes, for once...”
