Scarletmay flower shop au
I just really want them to have a shop called Guns & Roses where they sell flowers in one space and guns in the other. Because I am a cheeseball. But I’m having trouble converting everybody’s stories, so it’s in the drawing board stages (aka what keeps me up at night).
May Day Drabble #20
Anna May nearly blew their cover when Scarlet descended the red-carpeted steps.
Scarlet’s green dress, shimmering with material classier than glitter, had an ungodly slit in the side. It ran so high up Scarlet’s thigh that Anna May’s cheeks flushed with anticipatory irritation at anyone’s lingering gaze. But the wig, as red as her lips, proved the eye of the storm of Anna May’s fantasies.
When Scarlet spun slowly to swipe champagne from a passing waiter, Anna May turned away from the temptation of Scarlet’s bare back.
Temptation found her anyway. “If you’re good, I’ll keep the wig on later.”
And you know what? #9 for Scarletmay because WOW
Anna May’s hands shook with the bloody knives. She didn’t feel Scarlet’s hands cover her own but she came to when her lover spoke.
“Come on, love.”
Anna May’s eyes shot to hers. “Emily? I tried to—“
Scarlet smiled. “Safe with Sam and Flo.”
Anna May stumbled as Scarlet led her away from the group of bodies.
Scarlet grabbed her waist. “Easy, easy.” Anna May stumbled again. Scarlet squeezed her closer and took one of her hands. “You’re okay.”
When they got far enough, Scarlet turned Anna May into a full hug. “I’ve got you.”
“She’s safe?”
“Thanks to you.”

#2 for scarletmay 😘
“I’m fine,” stated Scarlet as she tried to get up.
It only took a light push to her shoulders in order to sit her back down.
Anna May pressed her lips to Scarlet’s forehead. “You’re burning up, you fool.”
Scarlet rolled her eyes then immediately regretted the action. “I took down twenty guys with the flu once.”
Anna May nodded as she handed Scarlet some medicine. “And if you’d caught this cold in the middle of a mission, I wouldn’t stop you.” She covered Scarlet with a blanket. “But that’s not the case.”
“Don’t go?”
Anna May smirked. “ I won’t.”

#16 scarletmay
Anna May felt her eyes drooping and blinked harder. If she fell asleep, she was fucked.
“Stay still,” whispered Scarlet. She bent, reloading her guns.
Anna May tried to count how many people fell from the thuds around them but her vision soon blurred and concentration waned.
“Baby, if I don’t-“
Scarlet shook her head and Anna May watched her duck then pivot to her right. “I’m not losing you.”
Anna May swatted Scarlet’s leg. It was a weak hit but got her attention. “The others you have to—“
Scarlet took her arm and lifted her up. “Not without you.”

May Day Drabble #5
Giggling, Scarlet yanked at the tangled covers until she covered both her and Anna May completely, blocking out what little light seeped through the clouds.
“I’ve always loved staying in bed rainy days,” Anna May purred, stroking Scarlet’s arm with her knuckles. “But I prefer staying in bed with you than with a book.”
Scarlet kissed Anna May’s fingers, interlaced with her own, but when she pulled away, she frowned. “It’s going to be…hard to love me.”
Anna May wiggled closer so their heads shared a pillow and their noses touched. “I already love you, and it’s easier than breathing.”
