Today's small victory. After telling my director that I was willing to wear it up at work, but I felt it was slowing the healing process, she agreed that I could keep it down while it healed... In other (related) news, I am also now a social experiment... If patrons don't flip shit it might not be an issue ever.
My Biggest Fear.
So back in freshman year, I accidentally left a computer logged in to my account, and someone renamed all of my files "PORN," "GAY PORN," and "NOT PORN." Before I could change them back I was blocked from the school computers. It's been 3 years, and I was so scared to talk to the librarian that I have used other people's accounts the whole time. Basically all of high school. So I have to get signed off on by the librarian in a couple of months to graduate and my biggest fear is that I'll have to look through all of my freshman year files and explain to her about the "porn."
I think that the lady I'm working now must je deaf. Asking questions, asking for help or even starting the conversation seems to be mostly impossible.
