Schafly Vanilla Pumpkin Ale, 8.0% ABV

“Life is short, drink dessert first!” says the bottle, and yeah that’s what they’re going for here. It’s sweet and very pumpkin-y. Bonus points for format — idk if it’s just psychological at this point, but I really am preferring the bottled beers.

Enjoyed during a pleasantly surprising game 4 of the world series. Did the Dodgers just use up all their baseball mojo in the epic outing the night before?? I can’t complain!

Schlafly introduces a new kind of bottle with G.U.L.P. (Gravitationally Urged Libation Pour) technology. This humorous take on Breckenridge Brewery's "Gravity Accelerated Pour" tech uses an upside down bottle to provide refreshment.

"You've never seen this much science in a beer bottle before," claims the creators on their YouTube page. Of course their low budget aesthetic is the perfect accompaniment for their April Fools prank.  I know I LOL'd.
