hallaaaa <3 so i have a question about our lovely lovely sana, i heard both opinions on it and both sides have good reasoning, but what are YOUR thoughts about a romantic interest for our tough little cookie? :) ja or nei? and why? i know my opinion on it ...but i dont want to influence yours so im holding back a little (bc i mean we both KNOW youd just say what i say right? cuz im one of 'em cool fly kids *puts collar of jean jacket up and tries to put sunglasses on but pokes the frame in eye*)

My thoughts? Nei.

And it’s because, I want her to have a season that actually ... talks about Islam, and how it’s like for her to live, day in day out, as a Muslimah in the West. I wanna see her grow. I wanna see what her arc would be, that isn’t about romance. I wanna see romance be put on the backseat for once, for a Muslim character. 

I mean, I’m not saying that she can’t talk about it, in fact, I want her to talk more about it. I want her to open up, SO badly, to someone, about her thoughts and her feelings. That’s the ONE THING I want THE MOST for her. I want for her to talk about her views on “romance”, how ... when she finds someone, she’ll know and she’ll do what she needs to, next, if she wants to be with someone. But that, right now, it’s not as important to her. 

There’s a lot of other stuff that can be explored with Sana. And, I’d love for her season to be a real eye opener for people, so they can get to see how a Muslim lives, daily. What their life is like, on the daily. What they do, what they eat, what they wear, what they believe etc. I reaaally want it to be educational, in that sense. And for romance to just, be a topic she talks about, but isn’t necessarily, a huge plot focus. That doesn’t mean she can’t find people attractive, or good looking - she’s not immune to feeling that, but it’s just not something she wants to pursue right now. 

So yeah, I guess, I’m saying Nei. Nei for Sana having a love interest in her season.
