ok so I first thought that when Scho said Blake saved his life, I thought he was talking about the bunker part but he was really talking about the moment he was ready to give up in the river and he saw those cherry blossoms. In that moment, he was reminded of the promise he made to Blake and that he had to keep it or else he would have died for nothing. He had to reach his brother. Like if he couldn’t save Blake, he could save his brother.
