Philadelphia officials have announced a city-wide inspection of all school boilers following an explosion that left a worker hospitalized. In response to union protests, the city plans to enact new safety measures and training protocols. Workers’ compensation attorney Richard Jaffe notes that safety conditions for school workers have been an issue for many years.
