Is essentially somebody taking every single argument against gay marriage and putting it against straight people and being like see it applies to you too
and then saying “but hey! i support you anyway!”
so the cishet ally trope flipped upside down
like “I’m fine with you being straight as long as you don’t rub it in my face”
using it in my English homework as an example of good rhetoric
let’s see how that goes over
