Parents, staff, children, the community may, no doubt, be shaken by yesterday’s tragedy. I invite you to put your oxygen mask on first by: - noticing the sensations in your body - getting outside and moving your body - hugging your children/ loved ones - journaling, drawing, getting emotions out - connecting with others - breathing through any difficult feelings It’s also helpful to speak to children in honest, but developmentally appropriate ways.
