one thing that irritates me is when a character's experience is so similar to mine as far as, what events occurred and what personality traits were in place at the start of the story but THEN they experience none of the interpersonal complications that same personality and life history tend to lead to. anyway sometimes I like to read sff with such a batshit wild set of circumstances that this will never be a problem. love to only relate to characters on a highly metaphorical level
