Whenever the ferry arrives, you can count on a massive amount of traffic coming from all corners of the lunar system.

It's not that you CAN'T get past Selen in other ways, but for the masses who don't mind the long boarding procedure , hectic ticketing system, or more likely, can't afford a tele-scan, the stellar ferry is the way to go.
