this is the zine i made last year before i transferred out of my old college. it's about how to survive general chemistry I and II.
basically, i did the freshman genbio/genchem gauntlet as an older student. i had a pretty stable life and it still made me crazy. i was like man, they're really putting freshmen through this? they are so little and stressed out of their minds.
due to the way higher ed works right now i can not save them but leaving this behind was my way of hopefully contributing some kind of comfort to that experience.
my secret radical agenda is that i think science is beautiful and should be a force of good and i want scientists to be happy and healthy people.
Posting the Citric Acid Cycle and Electron Transport Chain comics as requested. These ones are significantly more inane than my glycolysis comic since I was running out of energy at this point but they did fullfill their original purpose, which was to help me pass the midterm. @davey-strides i got you bro, it's tough out here but we're gonna make it
serious work for unserious people. when i graduate im gonna have to credit machine girl, femtanyl, and every early 2000s rap + girlpop artist at the ceremony
no disrespect to prof intended i respect her commitment to the grind. however i will NEVER give up on my dream of being a healthy biochem student!!! (DO NOT LAUGH)
