Over 1000 scientists from 25 countries protested and spread awareness on climate change. Our world warmed by more than a degree Celsius. They demand faster climate action and an end to burning fossil fuels.

I don't know much details for now and I'm afraid I'll spread fake information, so I'm leaving the research to you.

We need to act faster on climate change or we, and the future generations, will suffer the consequences. This is not a joke.

Here are some ways we can do to help save our only planet:

Spread awareness. Inform your family and friends of what's going on and ask them to pass along the message. We need more people to act now.

Save electricity. Unplug appliances you don't use, turn off the lights and use natural light if possible, use LED lights.

Delete unwanted or unneeded emails. If everyone around the world deletes at least 10 emails, we could save 55.2 million kilowatts of power.

Save water. Take shorter showers, turn off the tap when you brush your teeth.

Do not waste food. Eat the food you buy and stop wasting. As much as possible, limit livestock products as they're one of the most energy consuming to produce.

Practice the 3r's. Reduce, reuse, recycle. This helps reduce waste and minimize landfill waste.

Do not burn your wastes. Especially plastics.

Plant trees. Or plants. If you can't do so, use Ecosia, a search engine that plants trees. The more searches, the more trees.

Limit using your cars. If you can use a bicycle or walk from one place to another, please do so.

Scientists were arrested after warning us about the alarming and dangerous impact of increasing the production of fossil fuels and other pollution in the environment. They informed, if we don't stop the mass pollutions that have been affecting the environment negatively, then we only have few years on this planet. The media barely reported about it so let's do the job of spreading awareness. This is a significant issue that must be discussed and everyone must be educated about this. ps. feel free to copy this THINGS WE CAN DO TO HELP SAVE THE EARTH -Change your home's source of energy. Ask your utility company if your home energy comes from oil, coal or gas. If possible, see if you can switch to renewable sources such as wind or solar. Or install solar panels on your roof to generate energy for your home. -Walk, cycle or take public transport. The world’s roads are clogged with vehicles, most of them burning diesel or petrol. Walking or riding a bike instead of driving will reduce greenhouse gas emissions – and help your health and fitness. For longer distances, consider taking a train or bus. And carpool whenever possible. -Eating more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, and less meat and dairy, can significantly lower your environmental impact. Producing plant-based foods generally results in fewer greenhouse gas emissions and requires less energy, land and water. -Consider your travel. Aeroplanes burn large amounts of fossil fuels, producing significant greenhouse gas emissions. That makes taking fewer flights one of the fastest ways to reduce your environmental impact. When you can, meet virtually, take a train or skip that long-distance trip altogether. -Throw away less food. When you throw food away, you're also wasting the resources and energy that were used to grow, produce, package and transport it. And when food rots in a landfill, it produces methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. So use what you buy and compost any leftovers. -Reduce, reuse, repair & recycle. Electronics, clothes and other items we buy cause carbon emissions at each point in production, from the extraction of raw materials to manufacturing and transporting goods to market. To protect our climate, buy fewer things, shop second-hand, repair what you can and recycle. -Switch to an electric vehicle. If you plan to buy a car, consider going electric, with more and cheaper models coming on the market. Even if they still run on electricity produced from fossil fuels, electric cars help reduce air pollution and cause significantly fewer greenhouse gas emissions than petrol or diesel-powered vehicles. We can also delete unnecessary emails from Gmail. If everyone in the world deleted ten unwanted emails each day, it would save more than 40,000 tons of CO2. WHY are emails so bad to the environment? Every email that is processed consumes electricity. This is used not only to run the computer, server, and routers, but also to build the equipment.
