What if architecture would be alive?
What happens if materials could feel? If we let architecture get older naturally instead of forcing it to keep as new and we also improve this cells within materials to growth of life in it and control it in a way that it would be possible to actually live with the architecture and architecture live with us. pictures show: After 5 years, after 10 years, After 20 years, After 40 years, After 80 years...
Anthropocentrism or adaptability to the environment.
In this experiment, I wanted to confirm my intuitive thoughts about what's more important for humanity when it comes to a bigger scale. I was questioning myself if the human is always this very center of any design process... but I didn't want to get my perspective from my human scale point of view. What I did: I opened google earth, rotate the globe and started from a random location in the south of Europe, then I just followed the traces, streets, avenues, pathways created by humans or by nature, intuitively I chose the tracks to follow and after 30 min straight of no thinking just following I get to some random location in Ukraine. My result: I confirm my initial assumption, when it comes to a bigger scale is everything about adaptability to the surroundings, the human does not have to be the very center of every single design process.

Ludwig Rensch is an industrial designer, whose work connects the digital and physical world, putting an aesthetically pleasing and sustainable user experience first. He works at Intuity Media Lab exploring the potential of data driven design and robotics through prototyping. By using the free online collaborative whiteboard tool Miro for his presentation as well as for a spontaneous speculative group work in Session 1, he threw the students into an unexpected digital environment. After the Session the relationship and the dependence of man and machine was explored discursively. The question was raised how technology influences, enables or disables our behaviour in everyday life.
