favorite thing about them Honestly? Everything. He’s my favorite character of all time! But I guess if I had to choose one thing, it’d be his character development. Like, tbh, he’s the most developed character in the Mario canon and I love him so much for it. Not to mention his character is something that I relate to, his anxiety specifically.

least favorite thing about them Him being the butt of all the jokes. I cant stand it.

favorite line The gibberish from the M&L RPG games. I know it’s technically not a line, but it’s something that always makes me very happy when I hear it. Also the cute little things he says in Dark Moon, specifically “I do it!”

unpopular opinion Him stepping on Luigi’s show in Power Tennis was just some brotherly teasing. Y’know, something siblings do. My sister pokes me hard in the side as a joke, and even though it hurts I know she doesn’t mean anything by it and just does it to joke around with me. Mario stepped on his shoe as a brotherly joke cause y’know, they’re competing in a competition, but he didn’t mean anything by it. I like to imagine that he feels bad for it and apologized to Luigi after doing it when the cutscene in the game ends. Basically what I’m trying to get at is, even though I doubt this opinion is unpopular at all, but Mario is a good older brother and I don’t like that one certain theory.
