How would scilescoe manifest in your cave!sciles au? :3c
Nonnie, I have been thinking long and hard about this, and it’s kind of a head scratcher because 1) technically speaking, the wheel hasn’t been invented yet, and 2) I wrote a tiny little Cave!Sciles thing where both Stiles AND Derek had wheels. Now, both of these can’t be true, can they? Nope.
Unless…
Unless Cave!Sciles isn’t a prehistoric AU. What if this AU actually takes place in the waaaay distant future, centuries after a global apocalyptic event wiped out a huge chunk of the earth’s human population and forced the survivors to live off the land? Knowledge of things like wheels may have been passed down through the generations, thus explaining why Derek and Stiles would have wheels (and why Scott really isn’t hugely impressed by them in the story).
Or…
We could consider that whole ficlet as noncanon to the Cave!Sciles AU, because I was just playing around with the concept at the time. I hadn’t even settled on their speech patterns in that one.
Which brings me back to your question.
My answer: Roscoe is a horse. A very old, ornery, strong-willed, barely useful horse, and Stiles loves him very much for some reason. Roscoe sometimes lets Scott ride him. They all take little day trips together, like to a spring in the woods or down to the beach. It’s never too far since poor Roscoe isn’t really capable of long distance travel.
Roscoe can sense when there’s tension between Scott and Stiles, too, and that’s usually when he’s at his most stubborn and difficult. He becomes much more cooperative once those two sort their stuff out and make up. Roscoe’s a very perceptive horse.
As for the other Scilescoe implications…nooooo lol
guess who's back
back again

question: how does stiles have roscoe? did he have...
the theory I told to lc is that clearly he would arrive however, then see roscoe nearby and be like WELL I HAVE TIME TO SAY HI TO MY BABY… and then it’s time to save his other baby, so ;D
YES GOOD let’s go with that. scilescoe- the Real ot3
rainydayscittles replied to your post:I can ship Scott with just about anyone. Hell, I...
Hey, why did we let scoscoe go??? I never really got the smutfic I needed.
@sleepy-skittles to the rescue!
Here and here!
The Leverage homage was cool, but I'm still excited about seeing Roscoe's clutch. No scraped gears for this episode. ;)
I’m not writing scilescoe at all.
Mmmm, Roscoe getting hot ;)
