Controversial opinion: I don't hate Scrappy. I just hate how he was handled. (If he'd started to show more maturity and actually grow up, he could've been interesting. But it is a Kid Show, and the Status Quo must be kept. He must never grow or learn, beyond maybe getting Fred's skill with traps in the spin-offs.) Scrappy had potential that was squandered by the limited nature of the early show.

I always were confused why the Scooby sop gang always believed the ghost was real even though every time it wasn't. Then I remember they had a talking dog and if it was me and I saw a talking dog I would probably believe anything at that point.
