One of my favoritest #bookouttakes (that wasn’t a pic of me😱😂) is this shot in Saigon outside of the oldest market in the city (at #chobenthanh) that I think captures a lil slice of life in Vietnam so perfectly. I, for some reason (probably mistakenly😅), was invited to a private preview screening of @phil.rosenthal’s new @netflix show #somebodyfeedphil’s Saigon episode... and the show was so earnest, so beautiful and felt so truthful to the people that it made me want to go back to Vietnam for all the (late night lesbian owned) banh mi “nazi” eats, 4am pho, street-grilled pork chop com tam (aka broken rice) and ALL the other French-Chinese-Vietnamese historically evolved munchies that makes me love+yearn for the home of my cultural upbringing so, SO much. #vietnam #scooternation #saigon #hcmc #adventuresinstarrykitchen #StarryKitchen #failingupwards (at Chợ Bến Thành - Ben Thanh Market)
