Scott was not a party person, and he was sure he was the oldest person not performing on stage. He adjusted the tight back sweater his friend had stuffed him in before dragging him here. Scott smiled at a kid that caught his eyes and leaned in to be heard over the music, “Are we supposed to be able to understand the lyrics?”

Scott grabbed the boy, a frenzied look in his eyes, “Please you have to believe me, I’m from the future and I’m here to stop you from making the worst mistake of your life.” He’d just escaped death at the hands of the boy’s chosen master and he wouldn’t let those events play out again.
