Once I finally studied dara's face down to the last minute detail it's over. Its so over. I'm so gonna draw him like he's a vision gifted to me by the gods of romance and arts in a dream during my delirium, and that I must translate his features onto paper at once or else the world will cease to exist. Because he is—he is indeed a gift from the gods—and no one can argue with me on this.

be me; be friends with someone who does leatherwork as a hobby

tell them that you have been super into napoleonic wars again

they ask you to tell them everything about it while you watch them work

you did. for almost 2 weeks or so.

you watch leather be made into bags and pencil cases. they listen to you ramble about lannes and napoleon's relationship

next day, they come up to you and give you two leather keychains with their names on it

you then decided to buy them lunch for a week as thanks (this is good so you can take them anywhere and ramble more while the two of you eat)

Just learned that my family used to be fucking rich back in the 80s to the point they had signature watches, three banks holding their money, bags on bags of money just hiding on closets and somehow, it all just disappeared.
