You'd had bad anxiety for as long as you could remember. Throughout middle school, high school, college and university. The best way to cope with it for you, was to draw. Entire notebooks, random bits of paper, receipts etc. Became your sketch book. Even your own arms and thighs became your sketch book.
It was quite bad, up until Frankie waltzed into your life. You couldn't believe how much he cared for you, he wasn't someone to tell you to "get over it." He was caring, gentle, listened to you. It was like God had sent one of his angels.
Frankie wasn't like others, he knew what it was like to have bad anxiety even though it didn't stoop to your level. He had some idea what it was like. It wasn't just his gentleness and understanding you loved about him, it was also his looks. He had cute little curls at the end of his hair that peeked out under his hat. Beautiful big brown doe eyes, which he sometimes covered with his hat. Perfect arms for cuddles, and the main thing. He was taller than you.

Crowds were never a fan favourite for your anxiety. But this one day you wanted to go with the boys to the fair that was in town, and this day you happened to forget paper.
The boys except Frankie were like brothers to you. You and Frankie had been together a while now and knew that if something was wrong he would help you.
Frankie had sensed something was wrong, the way you tensed your body and tightened the grip on his hand. It was the crowd, it was slowly growing throughout the time your group had been there.
"Boys! Wanna get some lunch?" He asked the rest of the group, subtly hinting to Santiago that this wasn't a good place for you.
"Yeah let's go, there's a nice quiet stall at the edge that looks good" Santiago replied with a slight nod. You and the boys arrived at the stall and it smelt amazing.
Frankie sat you down in his lap, so you were a bit more comfortable and could cuddle with him while you drew. You searched through your bag to find some paper but you couldn't. There was none. But you remembered your pen.
He could see the panicked anxiety start to set in.
"Hey, you alright?" He asked gently,
"I.... I must have left my paper at home." You responded through a broken whisper.
"It's alright, we'll find something for you to draw on" Frankie started reassuring you. Your eyes flickered down to his arm,
"Can..... can I draw on your arm?" You asked sheepishly although you already knew the answer.
He gave you one of the softest smiles anyone could ever give you, and the doe eyes helped calm you a bit.
"Yeah, you can draw. You know I don't mind when you draw on my arm. Just remember not to give a pen to Pope we both know what happened last time he had the pen." Frankie stated softly, with a light chuckle which drew a little giggle from you.

It had been a nice evening, with you and your boys. Although your anxiety wasn't bad this day, you wanted to draw just in general.
At some point Benny had fallen asleep, and Pope somehow managed to find a black sharpie. You and the rest of the boys had laughed so hard, you ended up waking him up.
He'd went to the bathroom to find many rude things drawn on his face by Pope. But a small heart drawn on his hand. Benny washed off as best he could the stuff Pope had drawn, but left the little heart on knowing it was you.

You'd drawn many little doodles on Frankie's arm. Little faces, eyes, cartoons like spongebob, cartoon versions of the boys. But there was one drawing that caught his eye.
A small simple drawing of mountains, the moon, a campfire, some trees, some birds and a tent. Underneath it simply wrote "the boys."
Frankie loved this drawing. He didn't know why, but be did. It was something he wanted to keep forever and wanted to get it tattooed. A simple gesture to show you that he loves you, getting a small drawing that helped you, made permanent on his body.
