There was no time to let the horse rest, he would have to run to the wall by foot if he was to make it there to stop the wedding.
Dæny was so evil she sucked the life out of Jon that’s a true villain, breaking a person to the point where they don’t even know who they are anymore they’re just trying their best not to wake the dragon jfc it was so terrible to watch lol I’m so fragile right now sorry might be overthinking
Jon was being emotionally abused, no way that was love. I won’t accept D&D’s definition of love because we’ve seen Jon in love. And that wasn’t it. Y’all can say he was unworthy and deserves a lifetime of solitude but he was crucial to the rise of house Stark. Seeing him in s7 and s8 and how terrified he was of dany, was so painful for me to watch. When it came down to it he chose house Stark and while Tyrion gets to fix his mistakes, Jon is banished for freeing himself and the realm from a tyrant. He didn’t deserve that ending and he is worthy of a happy end.
They destroyed his character to drag out the Aegony romance and we lost our boy back on dragonstone. We can at least take solace in the fact that he is now finally free to rediscover himself after losing so much of who he is in this toxic relationship. I wanted so much more for him, and he deserved better.
Men can also be emotional abuse victims, just watch the scenes. Even the romance scenes were under cut with fear and panic, it’s so so sad that it wasn’t even addressed by him. Or anyone the way that it was for Tyrion. This is why I think Sansa knew Jon was going through this. She saw it in Tyrion and she saw it in Jon. He couldn’t even be himself anymore because of dany. It was the saddest thing 😭😭😭
