Maybe I’m thinking too far ahead lol. But since SCTS was originally an idea for an interactive fiction game (like LITG), if it gets enough attention as a webcomic, I’m seriously considering making the second season a game instead of a comic. Obvs with new characters and a diverse MC customization. Is that something that y’all would be interested in?? 🫢

It’s still up in the air, as the webcomic is still in the works and I don’t have a specific release date for it yet lol.

I don’t have any coding experience, but I am confident enough in my art to use it for a game hehe 😬

I completely forgot about the lil SCTS rambles I was doing, but since Leo season is right around the corner, I figured I’d do him next lol.

Physically, Leo (he/him) isn’t really based off of anyone, but this is the closest to a face claim I could find. And yes, the cake is accurate lol 😂

Personality wise, Leo is a little goofy and a little bit sarcastic, but can also read a room well and knows when to be serious.

• Leo is a fuckboy in theory. He’s a huge flirt, but doesn’t date or hook up, unless it’s someone he can see himself being serious with.

• He’s a sporty guy. He doesn’t do gym, but won’t pass up the opportunity to kick or toss a ball. His style is also very sporty too. When he’s not wearing his professional school attire, you’ll catch him in a plain t-shirt and sweats/basketball shorts.

• He is an only child. His parents immigrated from Colombia to the US, when he was very little. He is extremely family oriented and has a lot of respect for his parents and eventually wants to build a family of his own.

• Leo is a certified lover boy. Although he’s picky and maybe even a little emotionally closed off, he falls very easily and hard.

• He hasn’t had a lot of partners in his lifetime, mostly just focused on work and helping his parents out.

• Leo has a small, but close knit circle. He played guitar in a band he and his friends started in high school and stuck with them into adulthood. They have their occasional jam sessions for fun, but are usually busy with their own lives and jobs to hang out all the time.

• He loves his students as if they were his own kids and always goes above his pay grade to make sure they succeed in his class.

• Even though Leo has a big heart, he’s got a temper on him and can get pretty scary when he’s irritable. Not in an aggressive way, but more so in the sense that his face cannot hide his emotions. He’s also not the best at communicating when he’s upset and would rather shut off than be in confrontation.

When they introduced Elliot, my initial thought was “why is he giving… Aries?”

Both are blonde, dorky video game streamers lol.

But I found some differences between them that convinced me not to scrap Aries’ character completely 💀💀💀

Elliot said that he bought his mom a house with the money he gained from his fame and Aries is a ball of mommy and daddy issues. So phew lmao

Elliot doesn’t seem as fiery and competitive as Aries. And if he is supposed to be, FB didn’t portray that very well

Aries is a FLIRT and he will make himself the butt of the joke just to see his SO smile. Elliot seems nice ngl, but he doesn’t have that pizazz of like goofiness and flirty banter

I know we’ve only just met Elliot, so we don’t really know what he’s truly like as a character, but this is me convincing myself not to replace Aries’ character due to his likeness to another one 😭

I wasn’t sure whether to post this on the SCTS blog or here lol, but I thought it would be fun to show my inspirations for my character designs and give little descriptions (kinda like headcanon posts, only they’re actually canon hehe). I won’t give too much away because I don’t wanna spoil the story!

I’m gonna start off with Aries (he/him) because he’s the first SCTS character I designed and the one I’ve put more written detail into, so far.

Visually, Aries is the love child of my two favorite Disney white boys, Dylan Sprouse and Ross Lynch.

His personality is very Cody Ko-ded lmao. He’s young, dumb, and full of… life.

He’s definitely a dog person, as he has the energy and time (works from home) for one.

Aries is a video game streamer. It’s his hobby and his job.

He’s got middle child vibes, although he’s a twin. Aries has a twin sister (and this was already decided before LITG s6, I PROMISE lmao and NO, she won’t be in the show 😪)

He’s actually not dumb lol. Aries is a bit of a jokester and a bit of a flirt too, but deep down, he’s as soft as they come.

He doesn’t make it a secret that he falls in love fast and easy, but panics internally when it’s reciprocated.

Aries is pansexual. He came out in his early 20s and is very open about his sexuality. He’s been with people of various genders (romantically and sexually), but his relationships are very cut short.

He has a large group of friends and lives in an apartment with his best friend (they were roommates)

Aries isn’t close to his family, since he left Canada for the U.S., but keeps in contact with his sister (she’s the only one he considers actual family)

He has a lot of love to give and is a ride or die for the people (and animals) he really cares about.

So… I may have hinted at doing an LITG S4 comic, which I’m not discarding, but am putting in the back burner for a while because I’ve decided to continue my original comic idea (which a few of you already know is @starcrossedtheshow ). I’ve already started drawing the outlines and writing the story! And as a first time comic creator and storytelling newbie, I am going to TRY to deliver something good, which might take some time. I will also try to be consistent and share updates as I go because I’m putting my entire heart and soul into this solo project. If any of y’all were wondering, YES it will be a free comic and I’ll be posting it here on Tumblr.

I’m all about drawing what I love and I’ve had this idea floating around in my brain since I began playing LITG, so it does hold a special place in my heart and I hope y’all can enjoy it too! I’m looking forward to releasing the first chapter… eventually. I can’t say how soon it’ll be, but just know it’s coming. Thank you everyone who has followed my STCS blog. Even if it doesn’t have a huge following, it makes me so happy that people are interacting.
