In response to your follower confusion; it's because your opinions are interesting! It's cool to see a more in depth look at the (awesome) character than just "OMG guyzzz such a badass lady knight!11!" At least for me haha

Well, I try. ASOIAF, and this fandom as it exists on tumblr, has really been the catalyst for some serious changes in the way I read media. I'm a history major by trade, so narratives, arcs, literary archetypes, deconstruction - not really my thing. Originally I was more interested in what an author is trying to say than how he/she saying it. But these books, despite their flaws, and they do have them, are just astoundingly deep in places, and masterpieces of deconstructing the entire fantasy genre. And I love all of these characters so much. And since I am a Ravenclaw to the core, that means I will analyze them to death until it become evident exactly why I love them so much.
