1st May 2013 - Spring is here...
The days are getting warmer and the evenings lighter. This means it is possible to get outside climbing on an evening after work. I want to visit every single crag in the area, no matter how shit it is! So far this year I've been to; Brimham, Scugdale, Goldsbrough & Slipstones. There are loads of other crags to get to and I'm super excited to find one that suits my climbing. Last weekend we got away to the lakes and managed to get a couple of routes in at falcon crag. It was lovely weather and we were out till 8pm. Sunday was a family day, babysitting my nephew for a couple of hours which involved; a gentle stroll to the river, throwing rocks in, standing in muddy puddles, and tea & cake to finish. Probably a fairly typical way to spend the weekend for the majority of people. The weekend ended with dinner at my brothers. The introduction to the family seems to be going well and takes some pressure off the amount of people left to meet at my birthday party.
