I am an artist (part 2 of 2) Years later I’m walking around Boston and I see this really cool sculpture by an artist on the street of Newbury (shotout to The Slab) and I’m fascinated by it, after talking for a while with the artist he shares that he used a “Munny” as a base for his character. I went to the store the same day and bought myself a DIY base, a Munny. This got me going, it took some time to remember those skills, but surely enough, the more I did something, the more I remember doing it already, like I would think “how can I make this character with curly hair… oh yeah, just use a colander like you use to and you’re good” of course add to this years of becoming the artist I am today, I wasn’t just picking up sculpting after years of not creative outlet, I had been very creative the entire time, so it was the right moment to engage in it. I believe I have an addictive personality, I normally find something cool and I want to do it all the time (look at skateboarding :P) and when I got this energy I went all out on sculpting, probably a good year or two of sculpting, this is how some of my early followers found me, through sculpting, and I thank all of those that have stuck around, I know it looks like i don’t sculpt, that is all illustrations and skateboarding, but this is forever a part of me, and I go through stages where I reengage, the Mr. White Cell tournament was one of those sparks. End. Swipe to see some sculptures from the last couple of years and don’t forget to vote for my piece on the stories of @mrwhitecell Thanks ✌🏽 #sculpture #sculptures #sculptart #sculptartist #sculptingart #sculptingartist #artist #monkey #cat #gorilla #primate #goldchain #voteformypiece #whitecell #mrwhitecell #supersculpey #kidrobot #munny #base #art #artistsoninstagram (at Downtown Los Angeles) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDZcwEGljFi/?igshid=xmb4o17djy8y
