“Equally embarrassed and relieved” ...my exact words to Ron after my first walk with Brody wearing his new muzzle. 😞 It was a hard pill to swallow, after working with dogs, of all sizes, ages and temperament, daily for more than a decade, that my very own beloved second fur-child was a train wreck, to say the least. Like, understatement of the year. 🙈 And it’s totally my fault. Brody-man didn’t get the time and attention we gave our 1st baby, Kodi, all those years ago before we had kids and crazy schedules. So it’s no wonder he’s a complete 💩 show!! 😆 #scusemyfrench Guys, life is not always easy and/or pretty. I try to share the positive as much as possible, but I feel like the dark parts would be less scary if we just shed some light on them. So commence hard task #968 in my lifetime. And ya know what? I’ve got this! I’ve got you, Brody. ❤️ For safety, he wears the muzzle. For sanity, I do some deep breathing and use a short leash. We walk as often as our schedule allows. I use lots of treats and praise him often.
