Supreme Mathematics and Bad Habits It's the anarchy argonaut Sparking pot in the parking lot of the artist loft Noise narco Diego Donnie Darko At the crossroads slit my wrist for the art show Somewhere in Fargo I hijacked the torch As my last resort Marilyn Manson of this rapping sport Getting faded, crack the cork while I'm at the court Scatterbrain ran hella schemes with Paul Manafort These emeralds got me too jaded Lose patience trying to improve greatness Too faded, to a villain I mutated The clan move flagrant like how Christians crusaded We dig crates go dig a hole Bury yourself napalm gospels lift your soul Like Dimethyl rituals when I lit the bowl In the devil's body but yet God's still in control Me and these rappers got different goals I extort the industry then disappear. I'm Ingrid Cold You might've seen my name written in the ninja scroll Kicking it with aliens sniffing Egyptian gold Supreme Mathematics and Bad Habits Supreme Mathematics and Bad Habits

Interview with San Diego's Scvtterbrvin.
The music scene is quite vast, and full of new names on a daily basis. Try looking up new releases on Bandcamp, and the sheer number of acts dropping records is often overwhelming to try and keep up with. I pride myself on keeping track of dope shit, but it’s really difficult, so I just end up focusing on what I love, or what my friends shoot over to me. I lived in Southern California for several years, and ran up and down from LA, to San Diego a ton of times, and know several cats who were making music in the San Diego scene. My first interaction with ANY San Diego rap, was around 97 when I met Orko, the Psychotic Alien of Masters of the Universe at a Company Flow show. Orko was well know from SD to Project Blowed for being really left field and somehow showing up everywhere. His music, and crew were hardworking, weird, and some of the first boundary pushing shit I had heard when I was first digging into the underground indie scene.
Justin who runs I Had An Accident Records is always working on releasing dope new music in cassette form, and will frequently shoot me messages with people he’s working with, especially if it’s hip-hop related. Months ago he was talking to me about Scvtterbrvin being the only hiphop he plays in his car constantly, which says a lot to me. I finally jumped off my ass and listened to his music via bandcamp, but was a half-assed listen in the middle of doing something around my house or while at work. It wasn’t until I sat, and listen to his “Blunt Raps” release, and then his newest “Grand Theft Audio 3” that it finally hit me, hard as fuck. Scvtterbrvin is one of the BEST MCs on the west coast, that not enough people are talking about. So I hit the man himself, and asked if he’d be willing to be my first interview for the new blog, and he was very down for the process. What you are about to read is our e-mail exchange over the course of a few days talking about the San Diego scene, Organized battle raps, LSD, and his crew’s Red Lotus Klan, and Masters of the Universe.
Enjoy,
