But I digress, a compliment I would have to deliver unto yourself is that I love your style of writing and the effort that you place into threads. Threads aren’t boring one-liners that last all of two seconds before fizzling out. They’re interesting - the setting of our current thread has my mind going wild with ideas and the way you write such a sleazy, interesting and somehow cool character is beyond me. Like, I barely even know the guy in our thread - but I want to know more! Like I wanna get stuck in and see what unfolds and it takes a bloody talented writer for me to feel that way about a character or a thread.

You’re a sweet, genuine person who I would love to have more interactions with ooc! Let’s put it this way - I’m chuffed whenever I see you on my dash! <3 ))

A bad morning led into a bad afternoon which is why presently Joshua Washington was staring out over an empty street, a camera in hand. It’s the best way to unclutter his mind and work through stress. Today he’s doing random film work around his campus, getting grim and dirty shoots for his upcoming project. A silly urban horror story that’s rooted in real world bullshit. It’s a good plot but he’s finding it hard to find the will to push at it until it’s complete.

Right now he’s just looking for peace of mind and that always comes easier when he’s behind the lens, hidden from the world as it were. He’s in the middle of panning out a scene with the blonde enters it. He frowns but then he begins to follow him. He’s cute, would look good ruffled and stained with blood, so he calls out. “Hey, good looking, wanna be in my movie?”

A FLINCH. Not one that could work to his advantage, nor to allow him to wiggle his way out of the tight grip that Blake has him in. Gabriel has all but two seconds to render his demeanor unyielding or desperate. Two seconds turns out to be too long, and he’s struggling with appearing as if he doesn’t give a shit. Face fails to shift to neutral; lids closing and lifting to reveal a roll of the eyes to shield the terror in them. A thud pulls out a cough from his throat and he swallows thick in an attempt to reel himself back.

“ I--- ” a twitch of the lip when he feels the caress of the thumb against his cheek. Stomach churns, and he isn’t sure if its due to discomfort from the advance or his need to indulge in the hard candy Blake has to offer. Words fail him and he nods with eyes cast down to the other’s chest, avoiding eye contact. A reflexive sniff fights whatever tears or sobs ache to creep up, but he knows he can’t show weakness --- especially around him.

“ --------- What-- ” he chokes back, “ --- What do you need me to do? ”
