   the dance was SLOW, bodies swaying from one side to the other as music filled his apartment; the song had been theo’s choice, but mandy didn’t mind as long as she got to drape her arms around him; it had an calming effect, easing the restless instincts gnawing on her bones. ❛ you mentioned your father last night, while sleeping. ❜ she had no desire to talk about herself (for once), taking the time to mention her observation from their past night together. it was safe to say she was worried for him, but he hadn’t shown signs of remembering any nightmares — or maybe he was just too good at hiding it from her.
