In Showdown at Dark City, one of the big episode plot points was that Scyther and Electabuzz get super enraged by the color red, to a point where they feel so angry they physically lose all self control.

But then later we find out Scyther's own evolution is colored bright red.

Idk that just seems kinda... inconvenient? Is that why Scyther don't evolve in Kanto?
