here’s the bit on the main too so you dont have to flip back and forth [ willa holland, female, she/her/hers | subplot one, muse e ] —» silver lining by mt joy came on the radio, and it reminded me of vayla scott, who’s been in sundance for the last ten years. they’re 24, and currently a bartender. i’ve noticed they’re cynical & untrusting but can be dedicated & passionate, too. anyone who knows them would say cheap alcohol, chipped nail polish, vintage shirts, impulsive choices, & loud music describe their vibe effortlessly.

[ Lily Collins, female, she/her ] —» Heart’s A Mess by Gotye came on the radio, and it reminded me of Daisy Edwards, who’s been in sundance for the las month. they’re 24, and currently a journalist. i’ve noticed they’re stubborn & standoffish but can be witty & fun, too. anyone who knows them would say cigarette smoke, cold coffee, and combat boots describes their vibe effortlessly.

hey hi hello i am amelia and i’ve had daisy for a while now but i’ve been trying to tweak her as of late so bear with me!!

but!! i’m so so down to plot some connections, so here’s a few quick facts about Daisy:

daisy was born and raised in Chicago, IL her mother left without notice when she was 13 and ran off with a coworker. daisy left with her incredibly supportive father Donny for the rest of her childhood + teen years. she’d admired her parents relationship for years, so when her mother left and her dad was broken-hearted and turning to a life of isolation and booze, daisy decided she wasn’t going to face that kind of heartache in her own life and that the only person she’d ever need was her dad.

after some troubles, her and her dad moved to Utah where she finished high school and attended university nearby, earning a dual degree in english/lit and journalism. she prefers to write fiction, but chooses to keep things real for public eye + for the cash. she moved to Sundance when a job opened, and figured it was her first chance to truly be independant and kick start her career.

since moving, she’s been a bit of a lone-wolf. she keeps her social interactions limited to the necessary: work, grocery stores, and the occasional trips to the bar searching for a drink and a one night stand.

in short, daisy is cynical, clever, isolated, and very private. at least, this is the role she plays to the public eye. in reality, she has a big heart and an even bigger burden of loneliness on her shoulders than she cares to admit. she needs someone to show her that she really can count on other people, and that other people really make her happy, whether this is in the arms of a friend or a lover.
